The Operations Lead (OL) will report to the Operations Managers & Director of Operations.

Job Overview:

The Operations Lead (OL) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company in their assigned area/venues. The OL is tasked with recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, managing, and disciplining staff at levels below the OL position (Event Guards and Event Supervisors). The OL is expected to take the initiative to identify and complete the tasks necessary to achieve the company mission. The OL is also responsible for cultivating the corporate culture with staff at all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and discipline staff.
  • Directly supervise all events at any IESS venue.
  • Interact with and be the on-site point of contact for clients.
  • Coordinate with venue management on a regular basis.
  • Attend all necessary meetings.
  • Follow all company procedures and utilize established systems.
  • Be a critical thinker and be open to making suggestions for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain constant lines of communication with executive management team.
  • Be accountable for all aspects of operations for assigned venues.
  • Be available to executive management team 24/7.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as deemed necessary by executive management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a personnel management role.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hospitality field.
  • Organized, detailed, and able to self-manage appropriately.
  • Able to work a schedule that meets business needs which may include some nights, weekends, and holidays.
